OUR SEPARATOR PACKAGES

Our separator packages are most commonly used after a sand fracture is completed on a certain pay zone. With some of the sand coming back while flowing, returns will plug or wear on pipelines and facilities. Our sand diffuser will handle 100% sand slugs and will separate the sand from the liquids, transferring clean fluids to storage for easy transportation. This allows the natural gas to burn off to the flarestack or incinerator, storing the sand in the separator for later clean out.

Once the well has cleaned itself up and stops producing sand, we are able to perform a single point test to evaluate what type of well the customer has by the data information that we record and submit to them. Thus allowing them to decide if it is feasible for them to consider more operations like pipelines, more drills, and/or abandonments.

These separator packages are also required for H2S workovers and completions. A workover is conducted on a well bore if there are certain problems down hole to fix or if the producer decides to switch to different payzones. A completion is attempted once the drilling rig has finished drilling, and a service rig generally moves on to "shoot" the zone and evaluate the results, usually through a separator. The zone gets evaluated to see if it needs any stimulation.

Stimulation is the process of pumping an agent into the payzone to open the perforations shot while completing the well.

When the payzone has a high amount of pressure or H2S gas, a separator is rigged up to contain any vapors from the gas or the fluid returning to atmosphere. These returns are produced through our separator packages. Thus, containing the fluid and flaring the gas to atmosphere or incineration.
